WH questions are questions which starts with what, when, where, who, why, and how.















We use the word “who” when we asked for a person.





We use the word “what” for a thing or specific ideas and information.



We use it for constructing questions which ask for a date or time.



We use it for constructing questions which ask for a place.




We use it for asking reasons why something happened.




We use it for asking a way in which the action or thing is done. It may also ask for a number or condition.







WH questions are questions which starts with what, when, where, who, why and how.


What is for a person or specific idea and information.

Who is for a person.

When is for a date or time.
Where is for a place or location.
Why is for reason.
How is for condition or the way a thing is done or a number.



These questions are important for writing down important key points or summarizing ideas.
