A. PREPARATION

B. MOTIVATION
I will divide
you into three groups and I will give each group a manila paper with
different old places drawn and a marker. All you have to do is to draw
anything that it takes to have a perfect community in terms of
infrastructures to attend to the different needs of the people. In terms that
you don’t have enough space you can replace the figure of old places. To give
the game a twist after one minute you have to move on to check the work of
the other group if there is a lacking infrastructures and supply it. The group
who found out what is lacking will earned points

The poem is all about the bumboat cruise on a
Singapore river
Sometimes my customers
Ask me to take them to a destination, but it is no
longer there
Everything in Singapore is changing all the time.
Strong gestures. Manic conviction. “This is good.
We are never bored.
Nothing short of a miracle
This small wooden boat which is taking us now past
boat quay,
In its current incarnation, past the Fullerton Hotel
We can say that the changes in Singapore moves
really fast because there are exchanges of new ideas. This is supported by
the last part of the poem.
Their cultures and
probably some infrastructures which have significant contributions to their
history.
In majority the poem
talked about the Singaporeans’ culture and their economy.

Singapore as a fast changing country which brought development.
